CRM & Marketing Automation Specialist
We’re looking for a CRM & Marketing Automation Specialist to own and optimize our CRM ecosystem and marketing automation programs. This role sits at the intersection of marketing, data, and technology, ensuring our CRM is accurate, scalable, and actively driving customer engagement, campaign performance, and business growth.
Major Duties & Responsibilities
CRM and Data Management
- Serve as the primary CRM system owner and own the day-to-day management, accuracy, integrity, and compliance of the CRM database.
- Maintain CRM structure, field usage, naming conventions, and documentation to support scalability and adoption.
- Partner with IT to manage ongoing data imports, exports, etc. From FAST and other systems. M
- Manage data imports/exports (e.g., from FAST and other systems) in collaboration with IT.
Marketing Automation and Campaign Execution
- Build and manage audience segmentation for targeted campaigns and customer journeys.
- Develop, execute, and optimize email journeys, campaign and marketing automation workflows within CRM Zoho.
- Implement lifecycle marketing logic, triggers, and decision trees aligned with business goals.
Analytics and Optimization
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Act as the first point of contact for CRM questions, troubleshooting, and enhancements.
- Support user onboarding, training, and ongoing adoption across Sales and Marketing teams.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, IT, and Compliance teams to support product launches, campaigns, and ongoing initiatives.
- Support testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement efforts across CRM automation programs.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
• 2-3 years of experience working with a CRM or marketing automation platform (Zoho CRM preferred; Salseforce, Hubspot, or similar a plus).
• Foundational understanding of CRM data management, segmentation, and marketing automation concepts.
• Experience in the life insurance and annuity industry preferred.
• Experience working in a Business to Business or Business to Business Consumer environment preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with an interest in data hygiene, QA, and accuracy.
• Experience supporting email campaigns and automated workflows, or strong interest in learning and building them.
• Ability to review campaign performance metrics and summarize results and opportunities for improvement. Basic experience with CRM reporting and dashboards (or willingness to learn).
• Understanding of customer journeys and lifecycle marketing concepts.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage tasks, timelines, and priorities.
• Curious, proactive learner with a teat-and-learn mindset and willingness to ask questions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
